Langvad Jamboree

Kirsten Kjærs Museum ( www.kkmuseum.dk ) is situated in an area of scenic beauty in Langvad at Hannaes close to Vejlerne. It opened 1981 as a privat enterprise in a converted farmhouse and contains some 280 paintings by Kirsten Kjær (1893-1985). The original museum buildings has since been enlarged with 6-7 side galleries for changing exhibitions by national as well as international artists just as the neighbouring building has become the guesthouse for visiting artists, who like the resident artists of the museum may use the graphic and sculpture workshops. Through the summer there are concerts including the Langvad Chamber Music Jamborée.
